Justin works closely with design professionals, architects, craftsmen, and suppliers to build homes that will provide the client with personal enjoyment and an excellent investment value for years to come. J.R. Huntley Homes received the highest award recognition in the Parade of Homes while in Raleigh.

After continued success in Raleigh, Justin believed it was time to grow the business and branch out to Oak Island, NC. In 2017, he moved to the island permanently to live the dream of building coastal custom homes. J.R. Huntley Homes continues the same strong business model offering a portfolio of lots clients can choose from or build on the client’s own lot. Justin enjoys working very closely with customers through the entire construction process. Due to Justin's strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction, he has elevated J.R. Huntley Homes to become one of the most well-respected construction companies in Oak Island and the surrounding area. Justin prides himself in the fact that each project creates what his clients have envisioned. "For me, it's not a job, it's a creative outlet." He thrives on the connection with people and seeing his clients achieve the home or their dreams.

Justin lives on Oak Island with his wife, Jennifer, and their 6-year-old daughter, Taylor. The trio love fishing and spending time on the beach with their Goldendoodle, Lucy. 

Born and raised in Damascus, Maryland, Chad is the middle son of Tom and Marylan. He, his wife Jennifer, and their two fantastic children have resided on Oak Island for over 20 years. Chad attended UNC-Chapel Hill as a student athlete and was awarded two varsity letters for Wrestling and Ice Hockey. Collecting an ACC Championship for wrestling for the 1992-93 seasons, Chad has proven to possess that driving spirit that winners are made of. Although majoring in Computer Science, he realized that working with his hands and building is what he truly longed for. He landed a job in the construction field and never looked back. 

After working his way up the ladder from laborer to project manager, Chad decided it was time to take control of his destiny and started his own company. In 2005, after getting his License for General Contracting, Chad founded McCullough Construction Inc. and turned his attention to building unique, well-appointed, custom piling homes. Chad prides himself on his hands-on approach to building. He constructs the entire house from the pilings up with the help of one other craftsman.

Now, an exciting new chapter unfolds for Chad as his son Ethan joins McCullough Construction Inc. to form a dynamic father-son partnership. With a shared passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to upholding the legacy of quality that defines McCullough Construction Inc., Chad and Ethan are poised to elevate the company to new heights. Together, they will continue to build handcrafted homes, with Chad's expertise and Ethan's fresh perspective ensuring that every detail, from the framing to the trim work, reflects the dedication and skill of this family business.

SCOTT LANGBEEN
Scott Langbeen, a third-generation Langbeen builder, currently manages Langbeen Builders, Boiling Spring Lakes field operations. Scott started his career as a trim and framing carpenter in New York and North Carolina. In 1989 Scott left the United States to volunteer his time and skills to build churches in Argentina, Greece, Ireland, Germany, and Guadeloupe. When Scott returned to the states, he focused on studying for his builder’s license. In 1996 he transferred his newly gained contractor’s license to the previously established and registered Langbeen Builders, Inc.

LUKE LANGBEEN
At a very early age, Luke Langbeen was exposed to the family’s construction business. When necessary, Scott Langbeen would bring Luke to a job site where they worked alongside each other hauling lumber, removing debris, and unloading equipment and tools. Hard work was and remains a perpetual lifestyle for the Langbeen family. This deep-seated value along with industry knowledge, quality construction, and an experienced staff has made Langbeen Builders one of the most successful and respected builders in Brunswick County, N.C.
