My Nickname: Sockbun

I’m sure some people are wondering “Sock Bun? Really?”, but yes that is my team nickname and it is very dear to me. For quite some time, I rocked a tight bun that stayed perfectly secured to keep all of my hair up. One day, I came into the office and the boisterous Jenny Moyer asked me how in the world I managed to keep my hair in a perfectly round bun all day. So, I took her to the mirror to show her my secret; a tube sock, cut off and rolled up that wrapped my curly locks in place. Just about the time I had my hair all pulled out to demonstrate, Hank walked around the corner very confused and we had to explain through our laughter. From that day forward Hank has affectionately called me Sockbun. 

I originally started wearing my hair in the infamous “SockBun” during my years as an elementary school  teacher  to keep all the germs and critters that can be found in a second grade classroom out of my hair. While I enjoyed my time in the classroom, I found a new passion when I transitioned to real estate. At the heart of who I am, I am both an educator and lifelong learner, which I have found are the key to any Realtor’s long term success. Effective Realtors zealously explore the ever changing nuances of our industry, while also being able to clearly communicate with their clients.

As a Realtor, I take pride in making sure my clients understand the details of any transaction and enjoy spending time with both buyers and sellers to build meaningful relationships. I take pride in guiding my clients along the way and making sure that they feel comfortable and empowered with the right knowledge to make the best decision for themselves, their families or investments.
